Advanced Technology Systems (ATS) was founded in 2003 by a group of Americans who saw a unique opportunity to support the United States and honor their heritage by assisting in the safe keeping, rebuilding and rehabilitation of Iraq and other middle-eastern countries like Afghanistan. Capitalizing on their backgrounds in engineering and telecommunications, the team started a company focused on connecting individuals, organizations and businesses in and around Iraq and Afghanistan to the rest of the world.
ATS chose to partner with Hughes Network Systems to provide high-speed Internet services and network communications solutions using their satellite technology and state-of-the-art network. ATS built their operation to support the entire country of Iraq as well as Afghanistan and other areas in the Middle East - not just select camps or areas of economic development. To support their commitment to their customers, ATS opened physical international facilities in Baghdad and Erbil, Iraq as well as Amman, Jordan. These sites allow ATS to respond quickly in providing technical support and on-site network consulting services.
Today, ATS operates hundreds of internet sites throughout Iraq and Afghanistan. Their clients include soldiers and civilians, businesses, civic entities and non-profit agencies. Advanced Technology Systems is proud to be part of the solution in creating a better Middle East.
